Personality; Passionate, compulsive, slightly obsessive (compulsive personality disorder), talkitive, warm, trusting while still being relatively practical, and somewhat private.
First Impression; Rude, sarcastic and somewhat arrogant.
Behaviors/Habits; Because of her OCPD (obsessive compulsive personality disorder), which causes a rigid conformity to rules and procedures, perfectionism, and/or excessive orderliness, she has a tendency to want to control things. She liked taking leadership roles in projects, but always feared that the tasks she delegated will not be completed correctly. She often times feels anxious and has been known to have excess amounts of energy. Her worst habit is shaking her legs or feet while sitting and trying to wait patiently. A perfectionist at it's worst, it has effected some of her personal relationships with her family, friends and also boyfriends. The disorder also lead to her bout with anorexia and bulimia when she was 14 until 19, currently she still battles with the disorders, but she can recognize the warning signs and prevent herself from falling into it again.
She has a sarcastic sense of humor, can find the hilarity in fart jokes which makes it easier for her to fit into a group of guys than a flock of girls. Prefers playing Rock Band or Guitar Hero to fussing over her appearance in the mirror, but it's always the beautiful ones that don't care, right? Tends to dress for comfort rather than fashion, loves feeling intelligently superior in the form of picking up obscure or random pop culture references in songs, movie and TV. Also, prides herself in being a walking IMDB.com and knows that if she can't think of it off the top of her head she could find it in a matter of minutes as she often refers to herself as an 'internet monkey'.
History; Flower Callahan was conceived in a flower garden and thus her name. She was born on November 6th, 1986 and although she never learned the true significance to her name until she was 15, she wishes to this day that she'd never been told. Born to Christian and Lily-Rose Callahan as their first child she was what many would call the experiment, but she didn't turn out a complete wreck. Even though her parents divorced when she was little she held a strong bond with both her mother and her father. Lily-Rose sees Flower as her little protégé, the strong-willed who won't be silenced to fill someone else's needs.
Flower was born in New York City, but moved with her family to Boston where she was raised. She received good marks through elementary and middle school and although she suffered through her freshman year she figured it out and was soon on track. During her Freshman year she developed and eating disorder and was treated for that and also OCPD, attended therapy with and without her mother and began to resent her father for a multitude of reasons. Began to model during her Sophomore year, which only sparked the anorexia and bulimia. After graduating from high school, upon noticing Flower's passion for pretty much all things art, her mother helped her decide to attend MassArt in Boston so she could still live at home. Pursuing Art Education she plans to travel after graduation, take in some cultures unlike her own before coming back and teaching about her experiences. Now that she's gotten her disorders under control she went back to work doing small modeling jobs to help pay for school. Travels from Boston to New York and sometimes all the way out to LA during school breaks for shoots.
Though she's still very close to her mother, she tends to shy away from any situation that would leave her alone with her father. Calls him hypocritical for him to drink all day long and then scold her for doing it once with friends. They have a love hate relationship and although she wishes it was different she still loves him underneath it all because you can never hate someone who gave you half of who and what you are.
